Mike Spiegler founded the firm in 1993. With more than 25 years of accounting experience, Mike’s expertise lies in taxation for small and medium-sized businesses, and consulting for dental and healthcare practices. As Managing Partner, Mike is responsible for all aspects of the practice, including taxation, consulting, and firm administration. He also performs special tax projects, including mergers, acquisitions, and transition planning.

Prior to establishing the firm, Mike managed the tax and audit departments at a regional CPA firm. He has earned a Bachelor of Arts from Emory & Henry College, and an Associate of Applied Science from Virginia Highlands Community College. Mike is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in both Virginia and Tennessee, and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the AICPA Tax Section, the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA), and the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants (VSCPA). He also serves as Trustee of Johnston Memorial Hospital, Director of Virginia Highlands Small Business Incubator, and Director of Virginia Highlands Community College Foundation.
